Changing Footprint helps clients to understand and prioritise the need for Sustainability and Energy focused action, whether that’s driven by compliance necessity, carbon and consumption reduction, investor and stakeholder requirements, company ethos or a mix of the above.

We understand the different drivers between Sustainability and Energy programmes and can tailor our services to meet a client’s short, medium and long term goals, depending what’s required.

We can offer a range of support options: from quantifying and reporting on Scopes 1, 2 and 3, to building Net Zero pathways, to working with procurement teams tendering for physical assets (either to reduce consumption or generate energy) and most things in between.

Choosing which Scopes (1, 2 and 3) to focus on can be considered by drawing virtual boundaries around the relevant operation. Standard boundaries can be set to encompass the operational energy use, i.e. volume of gas, diesel, LPG, electricity (scopes 1 and 2) or these boundaries could be extended to include employee commuting, waste, transmission and distribution (scope 3).

When it comes to energy and sustainability, there is a veritable mountain of information to understand about what’s relevant and current, which can be complicated and is time consuming to dig through. Within our short read blogs, we have collated some of the key points to help clarify where things stand.
