A great starting point for any Sustainability programme is to group an organisation’s approach into four key areas: Strategy, Governance, Risks, Targets and Metrics. In a world of aconyms, this would be described as aligning with TCFD.

Its important to acknowledge that, especially for an organisation new to Sustainbility, noboby is perfect and starting with lower quality information is far more effective than waiting to develop higher quality information. What is acceptable in the early stages of Sustainability reporting may not be acceptable elsewhere, for example in Finance, but this is OK!!
