Changing Footprint helps clients to understand and prioritise the need for Sustainability and Energy focused action, whether that’s driven by compliance necessity, carbon and consumption reduction, investor and stakeholder requirements, company ethos or a mix of the above.
We understand the different drivers between Sustainability and Energy programmes and can tailor our services to meet a client’s short, medium and long term goals, depending on what’s required.
Sustainability now effects business decisions to a greater or lesser extent across all sectors. The requirements continue to evolve and change, making it challenging to decide on an approach that works.
Corporate Sustainability can be viewed as a management system that manages risk and reduces the negative impacts on an organisation’s financial position, the environment and people. Managed in the right way, it can lead to positive opportunities and innovation, creating value and market differentiation.
Carbon and Energy are inter-related branches within Sustainability. Carbon focuses on quantifying emissions across the entire operation and identifying high polluting activities, whereas energy often identifies opportunities for individual parts of an operation.
Changing Footprint offers a range of support options: from writing Sustainability Disclosures, to quantifying and reporting on Scopes 1, 2 and 3, to building Net Zero Pathways, to working with procurement teams tendering for physical assets (either to reduce energy consumption or generate energy) and most things in between.
We have a voice and we use it to engage with policy developments, promote best practice and give guidance on how to develop in a sustainable way. We know that things will change, so will always keep our clients informed of upcoming changes that might affect their operations.
We love innovation and will continue to identify, create and integrate new practices into the services that we provide, taking advantage of science and technology to improve outcomes for clients.
Our mission is to help our clients slow down and reverse their emissions and environmental impacts, in a sustainable way.
We often help clients set the foundations and quantify their position, leading to planning the steps needed to address gaps in strategy, and supporting the implementation of projects. This approach will protect the business and reduce emissions, pollution and harms to people.
We build on the existing internal knowledge and expertise within organisations, then integrate sustainability best practice, to create an ever-improving system, owned and operated by the organisation. Whilst the aim is to embed this practice within our client’s teams, we are always on hand to to give as much support as is needed, on the phone, via MS Teams, or in person.
