Changing Footprint was founded in 2024 to provide clients and sustainability / energy professionals alike, with an accessible summary of the ever increasing activity needed: so that the “what? and why?” are we doing this is clear across the group and the “how?” and “what’s coming next?” can be discussed and incorporated into ongoing and future plans.

Changing Footprint’s Mission statement:

To break down complex ESG activity into a stack of individually beneficial components, to enable a cost effective and flexible consultancy approach.

Historically, organisations have often focussed on the link between energy reduction and operational cost reduction / maintenance cost reduction and customer satisfaction. The need to comply with increasing UK and international legislation means that sustainability should be considered by most businesses. There are numerous pain points within the complicated sustainability landscape, which is mired in the overuse of acronyms to complicate things further.

Changing Footprint presents information relating to energy and sustainability topics such as:

• policy driving current legislation
• legislative requirements
• practicable approaches to decarbonisation

which will hopefully shed light on the “why?” and “how?”, plus demystifying some of the techno-babble.
